The positive response to Hastings ReUnited, which was printed in December 2005, was a pleasant surprise. Sales exceeded all expectations and the geographical spread of orders across the country spoke volumes for the interest in non league football generally and in Hastings United specifically. The book prompted a number of supporters and former players.

As a consequence it was decided to pen a follow up to Hastings ReUnited. The book  records  interviews with players from 1948 to the present day and will appeal therefore  to a broad range of readers.

Featured players are Bernard Moore, John Jones, John Crapper, Alan Burgess, George Peacock, Bill Farnfield, Ted Ballard, Keith Tucker, Bela Olah, Dave Crush, Bobby Drake, Peter Petkovic, John Lambert, Wayne Peacock, Stuart Playford and Jimmy Playford.

Each of the players was visited and interviewed, often using programmes, press cuttings and photos to prompt memories. The perceptions and memories recorded are real, albeit dimmed, and are the honest opinions of those interviewed.
