About the Author |
| |
|
Roger Sinden was born in
Hastings and made his first visit to the Pilot Field to see the visit
of Notts County in the FA Cup. This was the beginning of an
association that still remains in tact, despite subsequent house moves
to Kent and Essex.
He initially graduated in
Chemistry but then trained as a social worker, working in social care
until his early retirement as Head of Community Care in Essex in March
2003. He has a consulting organisation, Flying Free, specialising in
social care, performance management and organisational development.
Roger was a qualified
football referee and has reported on match days for Arrow FM and BBC
Southern Counties for several years. He is married with four grown up
children.

and Thanks |

These books are dedicated to
my parents Margaret and Aubrey and my wife Jacqueline. Their love, patience and
understanding is boundless around my life long struggle to attempt to
balance the social calendar and the fixture list.
Special thanks to Jacqueline for the encouragement to
embark on these projects and see them through to their conclusion.
